Jessica Cohen is a Cincinnati-based playwright.

Jessica Cohen was born and raised in Northern Kentucky. She earned a BA in English from Indiana University and an MFA in Playwriting from the New School in New York City.

Her play "Better" was included in a New Play Reading series at Cincinnati Playhouse in the park and earned recognition as a semifinalist for the Princess Grace Award, O'Neill Conference, and Woodward-Newman Drama Award. Her play "Tandem" was a finalist for the Heideman Award and the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region III Ten Minute Play Contest.

She now lives in Cincinnati with her husband and two kids. She is interested in American culture, our fast-approaching future, intimacy, and the mismatch between our external and internal realities.
