About me

I was born and raised in Northern Kentucky. I hold an MFA in Playwriting from the New School for Drama in New York City. I studied playwriting and screenwriting, as well as devised and collaborative theater.

I have written a number of plays and several screen projects. My play "Better" was included in a New Play Reading series at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and earned recognition as a semifinalist for the Princess Grace Award, O'Neill Conference, and Woodward-Newman Drama Award. My play "Tandem" was a finalist for the Heideman Award and the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region III Ten Minute Play Contest.

I have also expanded my focus to more conceptual projects, like my current works Familiars and In the Palm of Your Hand.

I live in Cincinnati with my husband and two kids.
